DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY
In this workshop, we’ll cover digital photography by doing a personal project from start to finish. We’ll practice the creative and technical tools to tell powerful visual stories— from composition and lighting to colourmanagement for printing, editing. You’ll learn how to apply these techniques to create a photographic series and gain a deeper understanding of photography as an expressive medium. At the end, we’ll celebrate all the hard work with an exhibition at Kunsthal, where we’ll showcase all the completed projects.
What to expect?
- The basics of photography e.g. Lighting, composition, colour management
- Create a concept for a photographic series
- Being together as a group, giving each other feedback and working together during practical workshops, but working on your own project individually
- Developing a deeper connection with your photography
- A finished (and printed! :) ) project at the end of the ride
What you need?
- A basic understanding of photography is helpful, but not a must — what matters most is enthusiasm and motivation.
- A digital camera, by preference one that can photograph in RAW.
- If you don’t have acces to a camera, let us know via e-mail, then we can find a solution to help you out.
