De Wolk is a center in Ghent where puppets, performers, and audiences can come together. The MUPO—Museum for Puppetry—offers space for tradition and innovation, heritage and experimentation. With a focus on the connecting value of puppetry.

This season, we want to build a GIANT, and we need more space for that. Broei is the perfect place to hatch this concept. Broei as a womb, so to speak.

It will be a giant dragon, made and carried by a motley crew of local residents.

Everyone can see the growth process and lend a hand, from the construction of the frame to the decoration. Finally, we will parade through the city with bells and whistles!

In addition, we also want to work on a mobile street puppet theater.

Puppetry brings people together, young and old, from here and elsewhere. Puppetry, a traditional response to digital indigestion. Small is beautiful. Even when it's giant-sized.
