DEWITTE CROMBÉ

Emma Crombé and Louis Dewitte are an artist duo based in Ghent who met at KASK. Their work combines humor, irony, and everyday elements, dissecting and reassembling familiar objects and ideas.



Emma focuses on themes such as laughter and social hierarchies, while Louis explores layered meanings through bright colors and playful imagery. Together, they create installations, videos, and paintings.



Their collaborative projects, such as the exhibition Happiness is in the Little Things (2024) and Tape Taped (2025), emphasize their shared interest in self-referentiality and nostalgia.
