As a freelance photographer with a passion for human interest, I’ve been wandering the streets of Ghent for several years now. What drives me? People in all their states and situations. No filters, no pretense—just the pure individuality that makes our city so rich. Because Ghent is diverse, and that diversity—regardless of age, class, or color—deserves to be seen.

With this project, I bring together the faces of Ghent through analog black-and-white photography. It’s more than just pressing a button; it’s a moment of pause and connection between photographer and subject. In collaboration with Broei, we dive into the darkroom.
