Funk The System will be back at Broei with a free entrance whole day music and arts festival! The beautiful place shall be transformed to the Funk The System village.
Come stroll through the alleys and let them guide you to the Main Square, where it will be one big dancing and playing party. Wander a bit further and you'll find the Market Place, where craftspeople offer the finest jewelery, art and more. Grab something to eat in our Food District or have a refreshing drink in Prince Springs. If you aren't afraid of the town's underground scene, dive into the Bunker for a sweaty dance in the arms of chaos.

Funk the system is a Ghent-based movement intended to bring people together. It stands for community building through inspiring events, giving a voice to each individual’s uniqueness. By allowing them to share with pride the spark of their own identity, their own funk. To funk the system is the expression of a wish to paint a richer picture of society. Too many radiant colours go unnoticed on our city’s canvas. The goal is social change through cultural empowerment. Social change not by breaking down, but by building up.
