For the Blikkenwerpers-expo ‘What about time?’, Daphne Lox brought together her most beloved art forms: images and stories in a graphic novel. ‘Is't nog ver?’ (‘Is it far yet?’) is a collection of memories and feelings that she carries with her.
During the book talk, Daphne will discuss the creative process, the choices she made along the way, and the surprises that arose. She wants to engage with readers about the themes explored in the book. There will be time to ask questions, engage in conversation, and browse through the book together. Whether you are a fan of graphic novels, curious about visual art, or simply in the mood for an evening of imagination, you are very welcome at Broei on October 23!
Boekenklets is a project of Dwaalzin. It is a book club for young people aged 18 to 30. It consists of discussion evenings where the book serves as a conversation starter. The focus is on the social themes addressed in the books.
