Negabsence is a contemporary dance and movement workshop, as well as a performance created by Arianna Berton, Lies Lambrecht & Giulia Di Stefano. It’s an ongoing process in the field of performing arts.
Through movement in its abstract form, we embody the emptiness which remains after the absence of people, places and actions.
WHAT?
During the workshop, we will share our personal warm-up and movement languages which we collected throughout our journey as dancers and artists. This will consist of floorwork principles, coordination sequences as well as improvisation tools and tasks. We share the concept, ideas and material of Negabsence which includes sharing and listening to each other’s thoughts and observations.
You will gain tools on how to connect to your own body as well as to the other bodies in space. The use of space is a main element throughout this workshop as it is closely related to the theme.
We see the body as an instrument and channel for personal expression.
WHO?
The level is open.
The workshop will be taught by Giulia & Lies.
We welcome people of various backgrounds, cultures and gender.
Midline collective is a group of three dancers who decided to compose, create and dance together after graduating from SEAD (Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance). What connects them is the same movement language, knowledge and background. The love for sincere expression.
